This hotel has the best staff in Italy. The front desk was so helpful and friendly. There was just nothing they couldn't/wouldn't help us with. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Just a short drive to the metro and a few minutes more to the heart of Rome. Great hotel for a Roman vacation.
Breakfast was rather expensive. Even though the hotel page states there is air conditioning, it is only available during certain hours and certain times of the day. Our room was a bit warm most nights.
the location is in quite remote area and very far from rome's attraction, the staffs didn't care to provided any information & services. One day the bus ticket machine (in the hotel) is running out of service , instead of helping customers they didn't cared to help . The street from bus stop to hotel by night was dark and dangerous.
Rest andd friendliness. For a visit to Rome this is aan excellent hotel.wt
Hotel Romulus was a very neat and clean place located outside all of the city hustle and bustle. My husband and I would stay here again if ever to visit Rome.
It's a very nice hotel , clear, with the friendly and helpful stuff , all receptionists speak English quite well. The rooms are decorated very stylish and elegant . They provide a very nice breakfast. There's a convenient and affordable transfer to Fumicino airport they do order. I must tell that behind the hotel Tevere river is running and I have found the fish splashing and fishers sitting on the shore. One only negative thing is the location .Only one city bus is connecting the metro and in the evening there are gypsy returning to their nestle one bus stop prior to the hotel. Return with the pack of aggressive and dangerous gypsy doesn't make feel save; there are no bus stops information, the driver doesn't call the stops , no voice record and no written info. So watch the restoran and hotel illuminated sign ahead on the left and ring the driver the stop request. The bus stops near the bridge over the highway , the stop is not lighted, the bridge is dirty and dark and you must climb over the bridge to the hotel with your luggage if you will see the hotel sign from the road and get off the bus. But the area near the hotel is nice and civilized. I believe that hotel was planned to be a motel and for travelers with the car it is a perfect place to stay. Anyhow, I want to say many thanks to the stuff.
Location. My advise for the hotel would be to have a shuttle to the nearest Fidene train station may be once per 30 min or even per 1 hour, but it will be save and reliable.
good value for money, clean, nice staff, very good location (few minutes driving from the center)
breakfast was poor, parking fee
Free internet, free city map, helpful reservation desk
Clean, and comfortable accomodation, staff friendly and very helpful.
Location and distance to the City Center . The availability of transport into the Center. I thought the Breakfast was lacking in choice.
Fantastic staff, smiling, courteous and helpful. Impeccable rooms, and great value. Did their utmost to alleviate commuting problems (see below)
Travel in to central Rome lengthy, mainly beyond their control, like huge traffic jams in the morning, due to roadworks. Shuttle bus only three times a day, booking necessary.
It was very clean, the staff was nice and the city center is near (25 Minutes). A good value for the money.
there was a bus stop near the hotel and it was very easy to travel.the reseptionist gave us a map with the buses time.it was near the airport fumicino and also near the port of civitavecchia
during the night there was some noises
Romulus has super rooms, clean bathroom, nice stuff. Its good for trip to Roma and price is very good.My room was exactly as pictures on Booked.net. I read few negative thing about this hotel, but I was pleased with comfort and good service. It is situated next to highway, but it isnot so noisy as I expect. The bus 135 from Tiburtina goes in about 20 minutes period, till midnight. I advice this hotel.
clean room, comfortable beds, only sweet but sufficient breakfast
terrible location, bad connection to the city (only one bus per 30minutes, busses very often left out, we were waiting for our bus for almost 2hours), shuttle only for reservation in advance and only 3x in the morning-only from hotel, no way back. Unhelpful receptionist. Heating not working. Unaccessible by foot, good with a car, good as motel. It is not possible to reach the near train station (nor by bus, nor by foot) because of the highway next to the hotel.
Fair hotel, has parking.
It's located pretty far off. Pretty much nothing interesting near it. You need a car to get anywhere (good that we were on car, so this wasn't a big issue). Not very comfortable inside, quite small room.
Staff work their service is excellent.
Transport from hotel till the nearest subway station is very poor.
